Every installation takes a different amount of time to install depending on the size of the project, site accessibility, material lead times and project budget. My interior planting schemes feature tender tropical plants that require the warmth of an indoor space to thrive. I will always select plant varieties that are suitable for the space, available light levels and temperatures and will never try to force plant types to grow in the incorrect conditions. For exterior spaces such as terraces, balconies or courtyards; suitable outdoor plant species such as shrubs, grasses, ferns, trees, palms, herbaceous perennials and annuals amongst others will be selected to suit a your preferred planting styles or space.

Of course! If you have ideas about the types of plants you would like to see in your space; I will always take these into consideration when designing the planting scheme. I will always highlight any potential issues with your preferred plant species if there are any foreseeable issues with their suitability that and will strive to source agreeable alternatives.

I will always advise that your planting scheme be maintained by a professional horticulturalist to avoid costly and unnecessary plant replacements and to ensure the overall good health of your display. Plant care involves a lot more than just watering, so always consider the benefits of regular plant maintenance visits by an expert. After all, if you invest in a planting scheme, you want it to look its best all year!

I offer a bespoke service, so costs always vary depending on numerous factors. I will provide a detailed quote outlining all costs before any work begins.

Again, this depends on your project and the level of involvement you wish to have in the process. I am happy to either install plants in suitable planters provided by yourself or I can source planters to fit your brief.

I will select plant types for every installation based on the brief provided by you or the space itself, taking style, budget and availability into consideration. Where possible I will always source indoor plants from my own grower who provides all of the peat free, U.K. grown houseplants for my online shop. Where other plants sizes or species are required; I will source them from reputable, quality suppliers that I have worked with for many years.

On occasion, the only suitable plant for a space is a replica one. Whilst I will always try to avoid using artificial plants ; sometimes environmental factors such as a complete lack of light or access to a space will force me to do so. However, using replica plants can sometimes be more beneficial in the long run and help you avoid costly and wasteful plant replacments.

There are several factors worth considering when using plants in a commercial space, which all inform my design decisions when creating a proposal for you. Does the area have a high flow of people passing through it? Are the air conditioning or heating outlets very close by? Does the space receive enough light levels be it natural daylight or artificial? Is the space used frequently or left unoccupied for long periods?
