Drake’s x St.JOHN

Savile Row, London.

The Drake’s store on Savile Row invited me to create a display for the windows to help launch their second collection in collaboration with Shoreditch restaurant St.JOHN. The concept ‘Lunch in the long grass’ called for a ‘wilded’ field installation created entirely from cut dried stems.

Textured grasses of varying heights and shape formed the bulk of the displays with pops of colour coming from small arrangements of dried flowers in their natural tones dotted through in vintage earthenware ceramics.

The scheme continued into the store and flowed through the new collection whilst some arrangements also featured in a press breakfast at St.JOHN amongst fresh cut flowers on the tables to bring a real summer picnic feel to the event.

James worked to brief effectively and efficiently whilst offering solutions to obstacles along the way; we are really happy with the work he produced.
